I arrived just after they opened at 6am and spent the entire day here as my "office." Yes, it was coffee with a bagel to start, a lovely sandwich for lunch and then I was there as they closed for the day at 3pm. No one minded at all. Comfortable seating and great coffee. I started the day with a toasted bagel with cream cheese. I thought it was going to be jalapeno cream cheese but it ended up being cream cheese topped with jalapenos. Okay, different but still good. Lunch was a ham and cheese sandwich that was nicely loaded and served with fabulous kettle chips. Filling and inexpensive. Wifi worked well and the place was quiet enough all day that I was able to work easily. A few Zoom calls here and there, comfortable. I would absolutely return to Dam Cafe. Perfect neighborhood cafe and great service and food, convenient breakfast and lunch hours
I was impressed with the variety of menu for a cafe. Large selection of muffins and coffee types - which all cafe's have. The breakfast and lunch menu were good. Great portions- cost friendly- pleasant staff. I would recommend this place. I could see it getting hectic and if they had a larger volume of customers all at once the wait time might have to be of consideration. For reference though I went at 0730 on a Friday and had no problems. Enjoy!

Well, Hello everyone. My pants no longer fit since I stopped visiting some of my previously reviewed restaurants. Well, it's not like you need to get a copyright on the "Dam Cafe." It's a fun place in a college to en of Mount Holyoke. It's a bit bizarre, but it works - everyone is happy and knows each other. You order upfront. They gave us this wierd pink dinosaur to put on our table to know where to bring out the food. While waiting, we both used the ink- potty, clean enough. The bride got a great ham and cheese, and I got the 12-inch streak and cheese: two cokes, tip, $30. I have been criticized for being critical - so here is my view- the people running this place are happy and all in, the food is above average, and as a retiree of 10 years, the price works well. Complaints be "Dam", go to "The Dam Cafe"!!!! Four stars from Johnny D!!!
Great service and food was good I ordered the scrambled eggs, sausage and hash on the side . Even though it is homemade, needs more corn beef Just little cafe. On the corner
Friendly atmosphere. Food and cupcakes. Not a pastry shop. More like getting food at your grandmas and your grandma likes to make fancy cupcakes. They have a back parking lot and back entrance. There are plenty of seats outside.
